The Major Problem in the Neighborhood, Country, and in the Society is GREED!
Do you know why weeds grow amongst the plants? Looking into a different perspective as to the reason weed (unwanted plant) grows amongst plants. It’s not only to make the plants stronger or to disrupt the growth of other plants. It’s because of greed! The weeds in its situation are considering how plants should be the only crop growing in the land. Sometimes, you see weeds even grows stronger and larger than the seeds plants or crops so as to subdue it! That is how some of us are! Never want the progress of your neighbor. Never want to see other’s progress, growth and development. You always want to be address as Sir, Madam, Your Excellency, His or Her honor, et-cetera.
Take away greed in the neighborhood and the country; you will see progress and light. The very reason of placing a light on a desk is to brighten the room. Where there is greed, there is darkness, and darkness is evil. Do you know that God said, let there be light when He saw that the earth was covered with darkness immediately after creating the heavens and the earth? Light is strength. It is an evidence of progress. Light is beauty. Nothing was made in darkness on earth, air and sea. There was no greed in the creation. Everything God made was on love; and that is light! Every creature was given its territory within the land, sea, air, above, beneath the earth, et cetera.
You will see strength in working together for development and state building! You will see end of bribery and corruption! When you talk about ethnicity differences, tribal wars and religious issues, the main focus of these rising deficiencies; that is, the real cause of these problems is Greed. Who wants to take charge and be at the top! Who wants to dominate and intimidate others? Who is to be the overall and in control of all.
Let us look at the two people in the governmental affairs, the elites (representatives) and the non-elites (electorates), both are citizens. The elites ought to have the spirit of knowing the importance of those whom they are leading with! Consider them first in any decision making and ensure good governance on their behalf! When the opposite happens, then greed becomes the case study. “A good leader always listens to his or her fellow leaders because they are both citizens!”
One of the things that makes the elites forget those who elected them is greed followed by same greed! Greed will only make you think about only now; just this moment without thinking about the next. Without being worried about your next door or others. Wanting to occupy all spaces, anxious of controlling all sector is a sign of greed and it is evil.
And God who created all things was not greedy in any sense for making man in His own image and Likeness. Do you know that man was His well divine work? He definitely took His time to design man who will represent Him and take charge over other things He has made. And, this took place right after He might have created other things in existence. This shows that God was not greedy at all. If not, He wouldn’t have created any creature or instead man to fill up the space, that is earth especially. “Out of Himself, He made Man (spirit being), to have dominion over all that He has made.”
