This is the story of a young man who had big dreams and wanted to explore the world with his talents.
Nwagbara (son of an idol) was a brilliant student during his school days. He was jovial, and everyone loved him, including his teachers. Nwagbara had several times dreamt of becoming a multi-billionaire.
His parent cherished him because of his excellent performance in school and his act of loyalty. He was very humble and respectful, and he had many sponsors during his school days.
His act of humility and excellent grades gained him a scholarship to a higher institution. Life was smooth and easygoing for him till he graduated from a higher institution as a mechanical engineer with first-class honors. His parent was so happy and super proud of him.
He was the last child of his parent but was seen as the family’s breadwinner. A few years after he graduated from the University, things turned against him; Favor, love, and connection seized like they never existed.
Nwagbara thought it was the normal process of life and adulthood experience, so he didn’t consider it. But his countenance changed when life became unbearable for him.
He had no idea of the problem, so he wondered why he was not loved by people as before and why riots occurred anywhere he went.
He submitted his CV to different companies, yet they have not called him for a job interview. His parent and siblings became worried, especially his dad. His Mum was concerned and also dying in silence because she knew the root of everything her son was going through.

One night, Nwagbara prayed and cried to God concerning his condition, and God revealed the source of his suffering to him in the dream.
That night, he had a dream where he was crowned the chief priest of a deity in an intense forest.
He woke up and began to pray. Two days later, he had the same dream, but this time, he refused to accept the crown, and immediately, he ran mad in the dream.
He woke up and prayed as usual, and after prayer, he ran to his mother’s room to narrate the dreams to her.
While he was narrating the dream, his Mum began to cry profusely and knelt on her knees, held her son, and continued crying.
Her action wasn’t clear to her son, so he asked her what the problem was, and his mother told him, I wanted to have just three children, but I had 5 of you because I wanted a male child.
Your father’s family threatened me severally with a divorce letter and convinced your father to remember that he is the only child of his parent. Your father joined his family and began to speak ill of me.
So, what does that have to do with my dreams and what I’m going through, or is there something you are not telling me? Nwagara asked.
His mother told him, “My son” don’t worry, I will solve your situation.
The following day, his mother went to her friend’s house and narrated her son’s dream and all her son had been going through.
Her friend told her there was nothing she could do now and that the only solution was to take him back to the native doctor and offer him to the altar, as that is where his destiny is because he came from the shrine. The spirit is tormenting him because they need his service.
His mother angrily replied with a loud voice… How dare you? How can you say such a thing knowing that he is my only son and all I went through before having him? Well, I hope you didn’t come here to insult or fight with me. Her friend said, because I have no hands in what your son is going through, and I have advised you on what to do if you want your son alive.
Amara ( nwagbara’s mom) wept again and again.
On eke market day, she went on a journey to seek a solution to her son’s problems. She visited a prophet, but it was unknown to her that the prophet was fake.
The prophet told her that the spiritual wife was following her son and that for him to cast that spiritual wife away, she would bring one ram, one she-goat, one black he-goat, five white eggs, and some other food items so they could use it to perform settlement sacrifice.
A few weeks later, she sold the only land she had to buy all the items for the sacrifice. The sacrifice was carried out, yet nothing happened. The situation became worse than it was. The fake prophet added more evil spirits to Nwagbara’s life, and he began to have a loss of memory. Days became weeks, weeks became months, and still, there was no solution.
Nwagbara, on the other side, was losing his senses the day; he could leave home in the morning without destination and return in the night. This became a significant concern to the whole family.
One day, Nwagbara was sleeping, and a spirit entered him; immediately, he left the house and found himself in an intense forest wandering about. His family searched for him all day but couldn’t find him. His mother went around the village shouting and crying.
While Nwagara was still in the bush, wandering about like a sheep without a shepherd, his family cried and prayed for his return.
One week after his disappearance, he found himself in another village. While he was sleeping, the spirit left him, and immediately, his memory came back, and he began to ask how he got there, but there was no one to answer his questions.
He was so ashamed of himself because he was looking dirty, and finding himself in a strange land made the whole thing so difficult because he didn’t know how to explain himself to people.
Luckily he saw a man coming with a car, he was afraid to stop the car, but he summoned courage and flapped the vehicle, the driver stopped the car, and he walked towards the man and said to him, please sir, my name is Nwagbara, from Cletus family in Iheoma village.
Well, my name is Mr. Moses, and I’m a visitor here; I came here for a purpose and am returning to the city. So, I don’t know any man called Cletus, and I am still waiting to hear of a village called Iheoma.
The man waved him goodbye and drove off. Nwagbara fell and began to cry and ask God for mercy. As he was praying and crying, a dwarf appeared before him and asked that he should follow him so he could lead him back to his hometown.
As paused and said to the dwarf. Who are you, where did you come from, and how did you know I need help returning home? The dwarf laughed and said to him, I was sent from above to help you; follow me, and I will lead you to your hometown.
As he was about to follow the dwarf, the man drove back, and the dwarf disappeared. The man said to him, hey, young man, what did you say is your name again? My name is Nwagbara, sir, He replied.
A few minutes after I drove off, the lord sent me back to come and pick you up. Nwagbara thanked him and then entered the car.
They moved to a particular road, and the vehicle stopped; it was hushed, like a no man’s land… The man checked the fuel gauge, and there was enough fuel.
The man tried all he could, yet the car didn’t start. He began to pray, and while he was praying, he heard a voice saying, if you want your car to start, let the young man in your cargo, and I will let you go.
The man sensed that this was not the voice of God, so he continued praying, and another spokesperson said to him, Nwagara belongs to me, so you can’t take him along with you, or else there will be a disaster.
The man turned to Nwagara and asked him if his family was an idol worshipper.
Nwagara said no, sir, I came from a Christian home.
The man began to pray again, and the lord said to him, start your car now and move, for I’m with you. Immediately, he did as the lord had instructed him and drove off.
He arrived home, and his family was surprised to see him with a stranger looking like a madman; he didn’t say anything then; he only told his wife to attend to Nwagara and take him to the guest room.
Later at night, he told his wife about Nwagbara and what they encountered on their way back to the city.
At midnight, a voice said to his wife, the young man in your house is a killer.
Send him away; else he will kill your husband; didn’t you see how dirty he was looking? He is on assignment to complete his work, so the earlier you send him away, the better for you.
The woman jumped up from bed and began to scream. She woke her husband and told him what the voice said. Her husband laughed and said to her, don’t worry, my dear, that is not the voice of God but the voice of the devil that is after his life.
They prayed together and went back to sleep. Her husband got an emergency call from a friend, so he left the house as early as 6:00 a.m.
His wife woke up, did the house chores, and began to prepare breakfast. The spirit came but could not enter into Nwagbara’s body to possess him because the presence of God was all over the man’s house.
The evil spirit could not withstand the ambiance and the presence of God in that home, so it went to the man to cause an accident, but God was with the man. His car fell broke, and the moment he was about to hit a pool, the car stopped on its own.
And the Lord said to him, “Behold my servant, I’m with you, do not be afraid for no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and those that seek your soul shall die for your sake. He sang praises to God and continued his journey. He got home and shared the testimony with his wife.
That night, Nwagbara prayed and cried to God concerning his condition, and God revealed the source of his suffering to him in the dream.
He had a dream where he was crowned the chief priest of a deity in an intense forest. He woke up and began to pray; two days later, he had the same dream, but this time, he refused to accept the crown, and immediately, he ran mad in the dream.
This time, he could not keep the dream to himself again, so he decided to share it with the man.
The next day, the lord reviewed everything concerning Nwagara with him and told him to take him back to his family that his mother has a confession to make, and after that, they should rededicate him to Christ, which will be the end of his problem.
The man did as the lord instructed him, and when they got to Ifeanyi’s house, there was so much jubilation because they were happy to see him again, and his mother broke down in tears.
She began to confess and said. I wanted to have just three children, but I had 5 of you because I wanted a male child.
Your father’s family threatened me severally with a divorce letter and convinced your father to remember that he is the only child of his parent. Your father joined his family and began to speak ill of me.
The pressure became too much. So, I met a friend who introduced me to a native doctor who gave me some concoction to drink so I could have a male child l.
I drank the concoction and swore I would return you to the shrine because you came from the shrine. But as an average Christian, I couldn’t bear you back to the shrine, so that is the reason why you are facing so many difficulties and having bad dreams.
Nwagbara wept but didn’t blame his mother because he understood that she wanted to remain married to her husband; so the next day, they went to church, rededicated him to Christ, changed his name from Nwagbara to miracle, and from that moment, every of his lost glory was restored to him in double folds, he began to fulfill destiny and all his dreams became reality.
In conclusion, there are consequences to our decisions, good or bad, positive or negative. There are outcomes of events in whichever choice we may take; the result is the end product of every action.
THE END!
