Your every thought and action was determined when the universe was first begun.
Free will is a choice – the power to choose. As it implies, there is a free in the will. That is to say, it is a will that is free. No impulse or pressure on freewill. It is a decision taken by you to do the right or wrong things).(It is a willingness or voluntary obligation or may say responsibility towards an action or reaction). For example, your giving should sincerely come from your heart not by force. Giving by pressure which is against your will, makes it not free and becomes an illusion
God gave us that ability to choose… such attitude is where the power of love comes into play; If not otherwise
If it is an illusion, what happens to Love as God being LOVE? Because love allows one to choose, not forgetting the attributes of love – 1Cor. 13:4-
Secondly, I am not disputing the fact that our thought and actions has already been made known right from the beginning following the concept of predestination – Eph. 1:4-5. There are two words I will like to pick out from this passage. They are love and His will. Verse 4 stated that He has chosen us in him before the foundation… be holy and blameless before him in Love. Now in verse 5 said, He has taken us to be his children… according to the good pleasure of His Will. In love and His will, God has the power of will; and in love He does not force us, but likewise controls or take charge in our thoughts and actions (even when we decide to go against His biddings) to ensure that we do not derail from His original plan and destination for us. Sometimes, we think doing something and at the end we find ourselves doing some other things entirely.
So, what is your take on this?
Let us hear from you.
